Aircraft servos are cylindrical motors or actuators with a piston installed within. When activated by a control device, hydraulic fluid is delivered to the mechanism and is utilized to actuate a control surface or landing gear.  As such, servos typically operate as actuator mechanisms which aid in the movement of ailerons, elevators, rudders, and retractable wheel systems. There are two types of families within the servo category: single-acting and double-acting. This defines how hydraulic fluid can be applied to the mechanism. Single-acting servos provide power in one direction, double-acting servos can have hydraulic fluid directed to two sides of the servo.      

This category also includes accessories and components relevant to servo and antiservo tabs, which are used in conjunction with flight control systems. Servo tabs are auxiliary controlled mounted mechanisms that are installed on a control surface; they are most often seen on aircraft wings. Both servo tabs and anti-servo tabs are often used in conjunction with gyroscopic attitude indicators and a magnetic compass system.

Aircraft radio systems refers to radio equipment integrated on an aircraft for communication and navigation purposes. An aircraft will need to meet radio regulations according to the airspace class it belongs to: Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D, Class E, Class G. These regulations might require any of the various radio connectivities including IFR integration, two-way comms radio, and/or an altitude reporting transponder. 

The most common radio systems utilized on aircraft are very high frequency (VHF) systems. An aircraft might also integrate VOR systems, ADF radio receiving equipment, FCOMM equipment, and many others.
